Be Like a Blade of Grass

Why don’t you take a deep breath and relax. Imagine yourself like a blade of grass, standing tall and beautiful. Whether you are part of a solitary clump of grass on the side of the road, or one of the many blades of grass on a golf course, or on someone’s front lawn—you are unique and very special.

God takes care of you just as you take care of the blades of grass in your lawn. You rake away the old, dry grass and make room for new ideas to come forth and be used where they are needed.

Let’s take another deep breath. Envision how you are one with God and the Universe, as you inwardly stand tall and beautiful like a blade of grass. Remember, you have the sunshine of God’s love watching over you as you reach up and grow. And if other people try to influence you against the truth and interfere with your growth, like the dry leaves and pine needles that fall on top of the blades of grass, remember that God has given you the power to be free, to be yourself, to be one with the Universe.

You are now at peace, for you can see yourself like a blade of grass. You know the secret of growth and you always stand tall and beautiful.
