Positive Stories of Insight

A place to enjoy the lost art of storytelling. Storytelling stirs emotions and influences behavior. We experience the knowledge in our mind's eye and make the meaning for ourselves. Stories that come from my childhood and more recent events inspire me to write narratives in parable form in hopes that the reader can gain wisdom and be inspired. It is my desire you will be able to use the following true stories as an incentive to further develop your personal, emotional, and spiritual growth.

Escape

Do you ever find yourself sitting in your easy chair watching TV or reading a book and feeling relaxed? Then all of a sudden out of nowhere this awful feeling comes over you and you start to feel guilty.

Those who are looking for work will especially have this feeling come over them. Probably we were told when growing up that it’s not proper to sit idle when there is no money coming in.

It is OK to be concerned and it’s also OK to relax and escape the pressure of life. For you see, to escape and read a good book or watch a good TV program is necessary for your brain to have down time.

It is at these times that God whispers to you with ideas and possibilities for you to explore their potential. Sometimes this also occurs when you go for walks or exercise.

For I say unto you, take the time to escape because you are not really escaping; you are connecting to the Source.

So my children, escape.
