Positive Stories of Insight

A place to enjoy the lost art of storytelling. Storytelling stirs emotions and influences behavior. We experience the knowledge in our mind's eye and make the meaning for ourselves. Stories that come from my childhood and more recent events inspire me to write narratives in parable form in hopes that the reader can gain wisdom and be inspired. It is my desire you will be able to use the following true stories as an incentive to further develop your personal, emotional, and spiritual growth.

In This Corner.....

Sometimes our existence can seem like a spectacular boxing match--the Main Event. It can either just be starting or has been on-going for quite some time. Let’s illustrate.

In this corner, weighing in with the weight of the world, and always looking for a challenger—LIFE. Its opponent, always looking for a fight, a struggle, making things worse than what they are, is—YOU.

For you see, we become our own opponent, our own challenger. Your perspective is what makes it feel like a boxing match inside you. Let’s not turn against ourselves. Let’s not become our own opponent. OK, in essence get out of your own way. Rely more on the universal nature to be your inner guidance.

Fore I say unto you, the more you keep attending your own boxing match and do not follow the Spirit within, you will never feel you are the Champ, or peace within yourself. So my children don’t be a boxer and beat yourself up.

Ohhhhh....I absolutely love this post! Short, sweet and to the point.

    That pesky Ego.

Always trying to get in the way when I channel or meditate.

Always trying to lure me into a boxing match that can never have a winner.

Ah, but then I cut off its power, refer back to my true connected soul and ease my way out onto the higher planes...

    Free again.

    Blessings Tony.
